Community Intelligent Housing Award (GBA) 2026
A pioneering awards programme recognising outstanding achievements in smart building innovation, sustainable design, and technology-enabled property management across the Greater Bay Area (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangdong Province cities).
CIHAPB Community Intelligent Housing Award (Greater Bay Area) 2026 recognises buildings that demonstrate transformative use of technology, innovation, and sustainable management to deliver measurable benefits for occupants, communities, and the environment.
Honour developments with best-in-class smart building practices and measurable improvements in performance, occupant experience, and sustainability.
Foster collaboration between property developers, technology providers, architects, engineers, and facilities managers.
Established in Hong Kong in 1966, CIHAPB is a professional organisation for housing practitioners with over 3,600 members in the Asian Pacific Branch.
Entries are submitted under building categories based on property type, scale, and building age.
Large commercial buildings are 30,000 sq m or above; small and medium commercial buildings are below 30,000 sq m.
Final awards depend on application volume and Jury Panel decision. The Organising Committee may withhold awards if entries do not meet the required standard.
The awards are assessed by industry leaders, academics, and government representatives. All judging decisions are final.
Each nomination is assessed across five pillars. Weightings vary by category, and judges score each pillar from 1-10 using the published score distribution.
Assessors score each nomination from 0 to 10 using the official benchmark. Benchmarks are for reference and assessors may score by professional judgement.
The assessment consists of written report and video submission, followed by presentation interviews for shortlisted finalists. All times are Hong Kong time, UTC+8.

Valid Occupation Permit or equivalent completion document, submitted as PDF.
Maximum 10 pages of A4 (excluding cover), less than 2,000 words, 2.5 cm margins, double line spacing, PDF and text-searchable.
Supporting photos, charts, diagrams, maximum 20 pages of A4. Pages beyond limit will not be reviewed.
Maximum 5 minutes, 1080p, 16:9, submitted as a video platform link.
At least 6 high-resolution JPG or PNG photos for award showcase, media, and presentation use.
Project team company or organisation logos should be submitted in AI or high resolution JPG/PNG formats.
